We as mothers have a lot on our plate and with that “Do It All” attitude we neglect to care for ourselves properly, and an illness can sideline you quick. Sometimes it’s not an illness and we just need to talk to someone. Parenthood, stress, anxiety, and other issues can really get to me. I have so much going on in my daily life that it gets a bit overwhelming at times. Scheduling an appointment at a psychologist office I don’t have time for.  So I thought, until I discovered Amwell. An on demand healthcare provider.

Amwell makes it their mission to prioritizing mom’s mental health. Amwell lets me talk to a therapist on my schedule, or if my child is sick I can access the app or visit them online for a health visit. It is definitely my go-to healthcare option. I have healthcare available at my fingertips.

Convenient, Affordable, and Private

Convenient– Amwell is convenient. I don’t have to wait for an appointment. Amwell’s fully trained staff therapists may be able to see you that day or within the next couple of days. I don’t have to drag myself to an office either. I can sit in the comfort of my living room and have total privacy.

Affordable– It is affordable. Most in-office psychologist visits can cost around $200 plus. But with Amwell you will pay $79-$95 for a therapist or psychologist visit. A savings of $80-$100 per visit. The best thing is most Insurers cover telehealth visits. My insurer considered it a in network visit and I had to pay my copay, which was around $40.

Private– It is completely private. Amwell takes your privacy very seriously. Your visit with any doctor, dietician, or psychologists are secure and HIPAA compliant.
